The Asian Pacific American Student Organization has been a vibrant part of Michigan State University's cultural landscape for over forty years. Founded by a group of student activists in 1982, our organization's enduring goal is to advocate for an inclusive and equitable environment for all students within the university's social, political, and academic contexts. With a foundation built on activism, our organization continues to promote awareness and understanding of the vast cultures, histories, and experiences often encompassed by the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American/Asian (APIDA/A) identity. We strive to support an inclusive and intersectional community on MSU’s campus through programming, collaborations, and networking opportunities that are open to every member of the university community."
