APIDA Celebratory was founded on September 9th, 2019, by Anna Lin. Asian Pacific Islander Desi-American (APIDA) Celebratory exists for the betterment of its members, the university, and the APIDA community. APIDA Celebratory provides educational support to the APIDA community through the acts of scholarship, academic excellence, personal development, and leadership. The organization recognizes and celebrates APIDA successes and accomplishments during the school year.

The purpose of the Chinese-American Student Coalition is to foster an environment that supports Chinese-American students and those interested in Chinese culture, providing a space that bridges the divide between Chinese and American identities. We create programs that allow a space for students to explore themselves and their heritage, preserving Chinese culture in a place away from home. The vision for CSC is to create an identity for what it means to be “part of CSC”, improving their overall experience in the organization while founding a stronger foundation for our membership.

CTRL+A shall act as an entity that celebrates diversity and expresses the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American experience through dance performances, while advocating for APIDA culture and representation at Michigan State University. CTRL+A hopes to provide members and supporters of the APIDA community with a space in which they should have freedom to express themselves and advocate for the community.

PERMIAS MSU is the Indonesian Student Association within the Michigan State University campus. We aim to create and build relationships amongst fellow Indonesian Spartans and the Indonesian community around us. We also welcome any members of the MSU community who would like to explore the Indonesian culture and meet the lovely Indonesian Spartans we have!

We are an organization dedicated to serving the Japanese community, as well as the whole APASO/ APIDA community here at MSU. We also strive to create a safe space for Japanese Americans, Asian Americans, International Students, and our fellow APASO/APIDA affiliates. In order to achieve these goals, we host regular social nights, GBM's, and large events that highlight Japanese culture!

We are a student-run organization at MSU that strives to help APIDA/A students in all fields navigate their academic and professional careers and develop professional skills through networking, workshops, seminars, and more! We also facilitate a supportive community and sense of belonging through social events such as a bonfire, hayride, and trip to the cat cafe!

An organization founded on Sikh principles, the Sikh Students Association strives to promote a sense of community among Sikh students on campus, to inform Sikhs and non-Sikhs about the Sikh religion, to encourage discussion about important interfaith and youth issues, and to develop a sense of community and fellowship for students of the Sikh faith and those interested in Sikh values.

We are a Co-Ed Competitive Bollywood Fusion Dance Team. We travel to different states around the US to perform and compete with other fusion dance teams!

Spartan Sur is Michigan State University's premier competitive co-ed South Asian acapella team. Founded by a group of friends with a passion for music in 2009, Sur has been making music ever since, competing across the nation and keeping their passion alive. Sur strives to bridge the worlds of a capella and South Asian culture through creating and performing compositions for a variety of communities, drawing from both Western and South Asian musical styles.
